Brock Lesnar will encounter a roadblock on his road to WrestleMania.
“The Beast Incarnate” will defend his WWE Championship at the Madison Square Garden live event on March 5. Paul Heyman confirmed the news during a confrontation with his former client on the February 21 episode of WWE RAW.

Heyman stated that former champion Bobby Lashley will be Lesnar’s opponent, but if “The All Mighty” fails to pass concussion protocol, The Special Counsel will make sure Lesnar’s opponent is worthy of the World’s Most Famous Arena. Lashley suffered an apparent injury at WWE Elimination Chamber, but it’s unclear how long he’ll be out of action.
Lesnar won the title at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 19. In doing so, he set up a Winner Take All match against Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. “The Beast Incarnate” previously won the Royal Rumble match and picked Reigns as his WrestleMania opponent.
Before this title defense, Lesnar will make a trip over to the blue brand; he announced that he’ll be on the February 25 episode of SmackDown to personally introduce Reigns to the new WWE Champion.
