Booker T Says He Misspoke About Rok-C Signing With WWE

Rok-C is headed to WWE… maybe.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently appeared on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and made the announcement that his student at Reality of Wrestling and former Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Rok-C has signed with WWE.

In a new update, Booker retracted his comments on Friday and said that he actually misspoke about Rok-C’s status. Booker posted the following on Twitter, noting that things aren’t official but WWE had better sign his former student.

“There’s an article going around saying I confirmed Rok-C signed a contract to WWE,” Booker wrote. “I misspoke on that… but they better sign her dammit!”

Booker’s original comments from the The MMA Hour are below:

“I’m more so trying to work with the talent to get to the next level. One of my girl’s just debuted on AEW Dynamite against Jade Cargill and that’s A.Q.A. and AEW just signed her so that was cool. One of my girl’s Rok-C, WWE just signed her and she’s my youngest champion in Reality of Wrestling, she started in my Fantasy Camp at 13 years old and her dream was to be the Reality of Wrestling Women’s Champion. I got guys out there floating around all over the world right now and that’s my passion, working with young guys, from an in-ring perspective, from a mental perspective and just from a life perspective but it just gives me purpose.”

Despite Booker’s correction, it has been reported that Rok-C was offered a contract and she recently took part in a tryout for the company.

Booker T recently spoke with WrestleZone and he was asked about Rok-C’s rise in Ring Of Honor in 2021. Booker said that he hopes he can keep giving performers like her a platform to excel.

“First ROH Women’s Champion. First. She was the youngest Reality Of Wrestling Champion at 16, it’s awesome to see the growth of Rok-C, from being that little-bitty girl when she first started at the school to now being the ROH Women’s Champion and making her return to Reality Of Wrestling just to bless us a little bit and that’s what Reality Of Wrestling is all about,” Booker explained, “seeing them rise and hopefully they come back and shine a little light on Reality Of Wrestling.”
