Gangrel Will Make His MLW Debut At SuperFight On February 26

Gangrel is coming to Major League Wrestling.

MLW confirmed Gangrel will make his in-ring debut against Gnarls Garvin at its SuperFight event in Charlotte on February 26. Gangrel’s wrestling career spans 35 years, but he’s never worked with MLW until now.

From MLW:

The vampire warrior rises once again as MLW has signed Gangrel vs. Gnarls Garvin for Saturday, February 26 at MLW SuperFight hosted by the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, featuring an MLW Fusion TV taping.

Whispers of the vampire warrior’s return have swirled around the sport and now the fanged fighter has set his sights on Major League Wrestling.

A bloodletting brawler, Gangrel is feared for his unrelenting brawling style, and styles make fights, which is why his Charlotte collision with Gnarls Garvin could end up being the brawl of the night at SuperFight.

Garvin, a rugged big mouthed brawler from Kentucky has heavy hands and an unpredictable arsenal with attacks from the top rope and a lariat that could rip your head off.

Promising to be a violent pier six slaughter, will it be Gangrel or Gnarls who has their hand raised in the wake of the chaos? Find out Saturday night, February 26 in Charlotte at MLW SuperFight!

Gangrel is mainly known for his work in WWE, but he also spent time in ECW, Stampede Wrestling and WCW. More recently, he’s appeared on AEW TV (in the Elite Deletion match in November 2020) and has worked for various independent promotions including Hybrid Wrestling (PA) and Coastal Championship Wrestling (FL).

Gangrel was scheduled to return to All Elite Wrestling last year, but Edge’s SummerSlam entrance put those plans on hold indefinitely. Gangrel revealed that there were plans for him to appear on Dynamite in Milwaukee, and shared how he spoke with Edge prior to it as well as his reaction to the “Brood Bath” returning.
