Quinn McKay has a new home in NXT.
Tuesday’s NXT Vengeance Day broadcast was preceded by a taping for the new NXT: LVL Up series at the WWE Performance Center. Former Ring Of Honor commentator/personality Quinn McKay (Kelly Verbil) made her debut on the show as an announcer, with the new name Kelly Kincaid.
WWE filed to trademark the term ‘Kelly Kincaid’ on February 4, but it was unclear at the time as to who the name would be used for.
Verbil started wrestling in 2018, and began working for Ring Of Honor in July 2019 as part of the company’s broadcast team as McKay. She then made her ROH in-ring debut against Angelina Love in May 2021, and later feuded with The Allure as she fought for a spot in the ROH Women’s Championship Tournament.
ROH released all of their talent from their contracts in December, and McKay’s last match for the company was a tag team win with Rok-C over Holidead and Willow that same month. Since then, McKay has wrestled Megan Bayne and Ray Lyn on the independent scene for Outlaw Pro Wrestling and MCW.

In a recent interview with WrestleZone, Quinn McKay described her experience in the ROH Women’s Championship Tournament and the positive reaction to it.
“It feels historic while it’s happening, which is something that’s really cool because I feel like a lot of times, whenever you’re making history, you’re just kind of doing what you have to do and going through the motions, and not really realizing that you’re living history,” said McKay. “But in this sense, with the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship, the first-ever, because we were Women of Honor before, you can tell that history is in the making. And it’s like there’s always this buzz in the air, it’s electric, like everything that you and everything that everyone else does is important.
McKay also acknowledged how ROH’s women’s division received some fair criticism in the past, but the company was turning things around and putting love and care into the tournament. Check out our full interview with McKay at this link.
