Montez Ford On Possible Singles Run: It’s A Difficult Subject, But The Bond With Angelo Dawkins Won’t End

All good things must come to an end…but the end won’t include Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins turning on each other.

WWE RAW star Montez Ford recently spoke with FOX Sports’ Ryan Satin and spoke about the ‘difficult’ subject of a potential Street Profits split between he and tag partner Angelo Dawkins. Ford says that they’ve talked about the idea of their respective singles runs in the future, but know that if they were to ever split up, it wouldn’t mean

“Me and [Angelo Dawkins] always talk all the time about whether it’s him or me, the support always stays there. I’m never going to try to cloud him from achieving success.

“Is it difficult? Of course, man. All good things that come to an end are always horrible. Nobody wanted to see ‘The Golden Girls’ go off. No one wanted to see ‘How I Met Your Mother’ finally go off. No one wanted to see ‘Living Single’ or ‘In Living Color’ go off. It’s difficult, man, but I don’t think that bond will ever end.

“If there’s a singles run for myself or him, the bond won’t end. The support will just keep happening on either end — and just keep going.”

Ford worked against Roman Reigns on SmackDown in September and recently had a run against Omos on live events, but the Street Profits are now once again working in the tag team division on RAW. The Street Profits defeated The Dirty Dawgz on the February 14 episode of RAW, read full results from this week’s show at this link.
