Killer Kross Is Coming To Major League Wrestling

Killer Kross is on his way back to MLW.

Major League Wrestling has been teasing the return of a major free agent, and this week’s episode of MLW Fusion shed a little more light on exactly who that is. A new promo aired on Fusion showing familiar images of hourglasses and a white rabbit, both of which have been trademarks of some of Killer Kross’ past gimmicks. (Kross was known as the White Rabbit in Lucha Underground, which now has a spiritual successor in MLW’s Azteca Underground brand.) The video then showed Kross laughing as he sat in a chair. The video ended with a television screen smashing, but no other details about when Kross will make his in-ring return were revealed.

Kross made his Major League Wrestling debut at MLW Fightland on February 1, 2020, where he defeated “Filthy” Tom Lawlor. Kross also worked another match at that taping, as he teamed with The Von Erichs and Davey Boy Smith Jr. against Team Filthy’s Dominic Garrini, Erick Stevens, Rip von Erich and Tom Lawlor. Kross’ MLW tenure ended with that taping, as it was announced on February 4 that he had signed with WWE. Kross still appeared on MLW TV, as the tag match ultimately aired on the March 21, 2020 episode of Fusion.

Known in WWE as “Karrion Kross,” the former two-time NXT Champion was released in November 2021. He’s worked two events since his WWE non-compete clause expired on February 2, a win over Jacob Fatu at FSW Mecca VII: Doomsday, and a decision win over Flip Gordon at WrestlePro Killer Instinct.

Kross recently commented on the next chapter of his wrestling career, posting the following on Instagram:

Much on my mind as of late as I come to a close on this final period.

In short; Man- this was an incredible chapter of my life. Nothing but gratitude for every second. Thank you to everyone who came for the ride- and thank you for letting me take you on one as well.

2020 to now has been a challenging period in human history.

I hope I was able to cast some relief for people during these times.

You all brought me to life everyday and motivated me to find the best version of myself for YOU.

As for the future…

What you see next may disturb you,

As I will not return in peace.
