Steve-O Left Royal Rumble Early Due To Positive COVID-19 Test, Couldn’t Attend Jackass Forever Premiere

Johnny Knoxville brought some friends with him to WWE Royal Rumble, but Steve-O had to leave early.

Knoxville competed in the Men’s Royal Rumble match and some of his Jackass Forever co-stars came to the stage with him when he entered the bout. Many fans noticed that Steve-O was not present for the occasion, and he evidently wasn’t at the venue by the time the match started.

In a new vlog posted on his YouTube channel, Steve-O explained that he tested positive for COVID-19, so he had to leave the venue early.

“Now keep in mind, we’ve been getting tested for COVID every single day, no matter what we’re doing, and we’re always negative,” said Steve-O. “Until I show up at the Royal Rumble, and they say I was positive. So now I gotta leave the Royal Rumble immediately.”

Steve-O then explained that he took his tour bus back to Los Angeles, but he was unable to attend the red carpet premiere of “Jackass Forever”.

“I’m stuck in St. Louis, I can’t go to the airport, I can’t get on an airplane,” said Steve-O. “So what do I do? I get tour bus driver to come pick me up. Turns out getting the bus wrapped with my face all over it drew some attention. So we drove all the way home to LA, where the premiere is happening without me.”

The premiere was certainly a memorable one, as WWE star Sami Zayn crashed the party and continued his feud with Knoxville. While he wasn’t physically present, Steve-O was still on-hand for the red carpet event as his fiancée, production designer Lux Wright, showed him around by way of a FaceTime call on her phone.
