Nick Gage Signs Exclusive, Multi-Year Contract With Game Changer Wrestling

Nick Gage has signed a multi-year exclusive contract with Game Changer Wrestling.

Fightful first reported the news and stated that the two signs reached the deal in order to lighten Gage’s workload and keep him with GCW. Gage is one of the most recognizable names on the company’s roster. He’s a former GCW World Champion, and he made a surprise return to the promotion at The WRLD on GCW, where he won the GCW World Tag Team Championship alongside Matt Tremont.

Gage reached new heights in 2021, as the popular series, “Dark Side of the Ring” spotlighted his remarkable career, and he faced Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite.

When speaking with Fightful, GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale stated the following about the contract:

“This is a major milestone moment for both Nick and GCW. I have always been against the idea of contracts in GCW but there are exceptions to every rule.

“From day 1, Nick has put his body, and literally his life on the line for the fans inside the squared circle. He deserves, and has earned the right to be rewarded for 20+ years of hard work and sacrifice.

“This historic contract will do just that, allowing him to continue his in-ring career at a pace that is beneficial to his health, while beginning to focus on opportunities that take him towards the next phase of his career.

“GCW would not have achieved the level of success it has without Nick F’N Gage, and we are proud to be able to say that GCW will remain Nick’s home for the rest of his career.”

Lauderdale then commented on the news in a tweet; he stated that it’s the “first and likely last contract GCW will ever offer.” He made it clear the deal is meant to let Gage go out on his terms with GCW.
