Peter Avalon Clarifies His AEW Status, Describes How He’s Been Pitching Ideas Backstage

Yes, Peter Avalon is still part of All Elite Wrestling despite taking outside bookings elsewhere.

Pretty Peter Avalon was a recent guest on Instinct Culture by Denise Salcedo to discuss a variety of subjects. When asked about his contract status with All Elite Wrestling due to recent reports suggesting that he would become a free agent soon, Avalon confirmed he’s still with the company. He also stated that he has chosen to take outside bookings to “open up his portfolio.”

“AEW original Pretty Peter Avalon is still with AEW, so that’s it,” Peter Avalon confirmed. “I am able to take outside bookings, just opening up my portfolio I guess.”

Avalon also described how he’s pitched ideas to get his group, the Wingmen on Dynamite and Rampage, but he knows how the business works. Knowing that AEW President Tony Khan has “a lot of new toys”,  Avalon seems to be content being patient and waiting for his opportunity to shine.

“Of course I want it, and we have pitched things,” Peter Avalon said. “I think the Wingmen are perfect for Dynamite and Rampage, and of course, I think I am perfect for any kind of television… so of course, I want to be on it. We’ve pitched things of course. But we’re there, we’re ready, we’re able and capable and ready. I know how it works, I know what the business is and it’s a wild time in the business. Tony has got a lot of new toys that he wants to play with and feature on his shelf, so yeah I’ll get mine.”
