Ember Moon On Her Release: ‘Without WWE, I Wouldn’t Be Where I’m At Today’

Former WWE Superstar Ember Moon‘s 90-day non-compete is up, and she’s ready to talk about it and start the next chapter of her career.

Ember Moon spoke to her fans last night on her Twitch channel about a variety of subjects. When speaking on her WWE release, she shared her belief that there’s no use being mad, as she had many positive experiences during her time with the company

“Without WWE, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today,” said Ember Moon. “I got to travel the world, meet amazing people and make amazing friends that are going to be with me for a lifetime. At the end of the day, I don’t think it’s all bad. Every time I look at the negatives, and there were plenty, trust me, the positives outweigh that. There is no use in being mad.”

Moon elaborated by stating that she feels she had the opportunity to do a lot of things in WWE, whereas some of her friends got released before they even got the chance to show the world what they can do.

“I feel very sorry for my friends that did get let go too early,” said Moon. “What I mean by that is those men and women that never got an opportunity to showcase themselves on the level that I know they can showcase themselves. That’s part of the reason why I feel like it’s not fair for me to come on here and bitch and moan and whine. It’s not fair. Where I had the opportunity to wrestle on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT and became a champion and did a lot with my career, it’s not fair when those of my friends barely got started.”

It was also announced yesterday that Moon’s first match outside of WWE in many years would be against Thunder Rosa of All Elite Wrestling for the independent company Warrior Wrestling out of Chicago. Moon says she believes this match is an opportunity to prove to everyone that she’s not a “washed up has been.”

“It’s an opportunity to prove that I’m not some washed-up has-been,” said Moon. “For a while, I felt like that and I know in my heart and soul that I’m better than that.”
