Mojo Rawley On Potentially Reuniting With Matt Cardona: ‘It’s Very Tempting’, But I Could Also Beat Him Up

Is a Hype Bros reunion in the cards?

The duo, which featured Zack Ryder (now known as Matt Cardona) and Mojo Rawley had a brief run on WWE NXT and, later, SmackDown between 2015 and 2017 before the company released the two men in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Since then, Rawley, who now goes by Mojo Muhtadi, has focused on other ventures while Cardona has been renowned for his work in Game Changer Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling.

During an appearance on TMZ Sports, Mojo Muhtadi, formerly known as Mojo Rawley, recently discussed the success of his tag team partner, Matt Cardona in Game Changer Wrestling. Muhtadi was specifically sharing his thoughts on the way “The Deathmatch King” spit beer in a fan’s face at The WRLD on GCW on January 23. The former WWE 24/7 Champion praised Cardona’s current run and admitted that he’s tempted to join forces with him, but he’s also compelled by the idea of facing him.

“You know, I gotta say, seeing his new attitude, it’s very tempting,” said Muhtadi. “I like to see it. That being said, kicking the crap out of Broski is again one of my favorite things to do ever. So I don’t know, I’m kinda walking a fine line here. I guess this thing could go either way. Guess people are just gonna have to stay tuned and find out.”

Muhtadi also contrasted Cardona’s persona to the man he knew as Zack Ryder by saying that it’s different, and he’s liking the Internet Champion’s “vibe.”

“I can tell you, Matt these days is the opposite of how he was when we tagged together with the Hype Bros,” said Muhtadi. “I hate to admit it ‘cause clowning and humiliating Matt Cardona is one of my life’s most favorite accomplishments. But I’m kinda liking the vibe he’s putting out right now.”

Time will tell whether the Hype Bros reunite as partners or wage war as enemies at some point in the future.
