New Day’s Xavier Woods is reportedly returning to the road for WWE this week.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Xavier Woods will be back on the road for WWE this week and is scheduled to be at SmackDown this Friday in Kansas City.
Xavier Woods last wrestled on January 7, where he suffered a torn plantaris. One week later, Woods confirmed the injury on G4’s Attack of the Show, where he said he would be out of the ring for four to six weeks. It is unknown at this time if Woods has been cleared and was kayfabing the timeframe earlier this month or not, but we’ll find out soon enough.
Woods’ partners in The New Day, Big E and Kofi Kingston, are currently scheduled to face Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss this Friday on WWE SmackDown. So it’s entirely possible that we could see Woods in their corner on Friday.
