Report: Sami Zayn Re-Signs With WWE

Sami Zayn has reportedly signed a new deal to remain with WWE for the next few years.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has confirmed an earlier report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sami Zayn has re-signed with WWE and will remain with the company for “several more years.”

This news comes just a few short weeks after Kevin Owens had re-signed a new three-year deal with WWE. At one point last year many fans assumed that both Owens and Zayn would be headed to All Elite Wrestling at some point in 2022 but is now seemingly off the table.

While Kevin Owens seems to be entering a program with Damian Priest heading into the Royal Rumble for the United States Championship, Sami Zayn is locked into a storyline with Jackass star Johnny Knoxville over the men’s Royal Rumble match itself. WWE has trusted Zayn with several celebrity interactions over the years and he always hits them out of the park.

What the rest of the year holds for Sami Zayn is anybody’s guess, but it appears that he’ll remain with WWE for the time being.
