Shane Strickland (Swerve Scott) To Return At The Wrestling REVOLVER Show On 4/16

Shane Strickland is back.

The Wrestling REVOLVER has announced that Strickland, formerly known as WWE star Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, will be at the promotion’s show on April 16, which is fittingly titled “Swerve’s House.” It’s currently unclear who he’ll be facing, but as of this writing, “Swerve’s House” will be Scott’s first appearance at a wrestling show since his WWE release.

Strickland signed with WWE in April 2019 and debuted on the July 3 episode of WWE NXT. As Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, he gradually rose to prominence on the black-and-gold brand before he had a breakout run in 2021 as the leader of the Hit Row stable. Scott won the NXT North American Championship on the June 29 episode of NXT, and the entirety of Hit Row was called up to the main roster through the WWE Draft in October.

The group was drafted to SmackDown, and it made a few appearances before WWE released Scott, alongside his stablemates Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis, on November 18.

Prior to his time in WWE, Strickland was one of the most renowned competitors on the independent scene; he competed for EVOLVE, Lucha Underground and Major League Wrestling, among other promotions.
