Matt Cardona will “rock and roll” at GCW‘s “Say You Will” event in Chicago on January 15.
In a tweet on January 9, the promotion announced that Cardona will face Ricky Morton, one-half of the legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Express tag team. Cardona has been hoping to get his hands on Joey Janela ever since “The Bad Boy” shared some shocking pictures of The Internet Champion’s wife, Chelsea Green. But “The Deathmatch King” won’t get his wish just yet.

The updated card for GCW Say You Will is as follows:
- Matt Cardona vs. Ricky Morton
- Allie Katch vs. Kylie Rae
- PCO vs. AJ Gray
- Bandido vs. Blake Christian
- ROH World Championship: Jonathan Gresham vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
- GCW World Tag Team Championship: The Briscoes (c) vs. The Rejects (John Wayne Murdoch & Reed Bentley)
The day before this show, Cardona will face Rhino at GCW Most Notorious. With the company’s sold-out show at the Hammerstein Ballroom also on the horizon, Cardona will surely hope to win these two matches to start off the new year on a strong note.
