Betty White has passed away.
TMZ is reporting Betty White died at home on Friday; she was 99 years old.
White was best known for her roles on The Betty White Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls and Hot In Cleveland. White also had memorable roles in Lake Placid and The Proposal and became a pop culture icon later in her life. White’s influence was felt throughout the world, as she was popular amongst today’s wrestling community, including with WWE’s Xavier Woods and RJ City.
Wrestling fans may recall her from her guest host appearance on the February 10, 2014 episode of WWE RAW, where she interacted with Big Show (Paul Wight), John Cena, the New Age Outlaws and many other WWE stars.
White was preparing to celebrate her milestone 100th birthday on January 17, 2022, and was recently featured in a cover story interview by PEOPLE magazine. White was also scheduled to take part in a one-night event, “Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration” to commemorate her birthday and life.
