On December 29, AEW taped several matches for the “New Year’s Smash” edition of AEW Rampage at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
Among other stars, Cody Rhodes competed; he defended his TNT Championship against Ethan Page.
The results, courtesy of Wrestling Inc., are as follows:
- Darby Allin defeated Anthony Bowens; After the match, Andrade El Idolo distracted Allin, and The Acclaimed attacked the former AEW TNT Champion.
- Anna Jay and Tay Conti defeated The Bunny and Penelope Ford in a Street Fight. This chaotic bout featured barbed wire, tables, ladders, thumbtacks, chairs, and blood. Everyone but Ford had a blood-covered face by the end of the bout. Jay scored the win by making The Bunny tap out.
