James Yun, also known as Jimmy Wang Yang, is moving on from his role as a producer with WWE.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported the news by noting that Yang had a “short tryout run” that began in October. He stated that Yang decided that producing “wasn’t for him.”
Yang’s time with WWE, across several runs, dates back to 2001; he came to Vince McMahon’s promotion after it bought out WCW. WWE released Yang in 2002, but the company brought im back in 2003. After his second release in 2005, Yang came back again in 2006, and this third run lasted until 2010.
Throughout his career, Yang has also worked for Ring of Honor, TNA, where he was one of the Flying Elvises, and All Japan Pro Wrestling.
