JONAH Confirms Length Of Current Deal With IMPACT Wrestling

JONAH is ready to travel the road to Rebellion.

JONAH (formerly Bronson Reed/Jonah Rock) has said he was on a “short-term” deal with IMPACT Wrestling and now we know just how long he’ll be with the company under the current agreement.

WrestleZone recently spoke with JONAH, who confirmed that his deal runs through IMPACT’s Rebellion pay-per-view in April. The “Top Dog” was asked about possibly getting back on the road with IMPACT, who recently announced a multi-city live event tour to start the new year. JONAH said he’s going to be on the road on those events and looks forward to getting a chance to perform in front of different crowds.

“My agreement with IMPACT is through Rebellion, so I know that I’ll be out there on this tour through Rebellion,” he said to WrestleZone. “I think it’s exciting to be on the road and be in different cities where those people can see IMPACT Wrestling rather than being set in one place.

“I very much had that with what NXT became after the pandemic, it was set in one place in Florida, and not that that’s not great [having a steady venue], wrestling there is good,” he noted, “but it’s always good when you can go to different towns and get a feel from different crowds.”

JONAH made his debut with IMPACT back in November at Turning Point as he attacked Josh Alexander, his opponent at January’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

IMPACT Wrestling will be in Dallas for Hard To Kill, and then the promotion will make stops in Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Louisville (KY) and Philadelphia between January and March 2022. Rebellion is currently scheduled for April 2022, but the official date and venue have not been announced as of this time.

Stay tuned for WrestleZone’s full interview with JONAH, who also speaks about facing Josh Alexander at Hard To Kill, being inspired by Bam Bam Bigelow, his goal to bring his brand to multiple promotions and much more. JONAH also recently spoke about feeling like he could fit in on any roster, or any era. Read more about how he feels like he is the kind of talent that can be “placed anywhere” at this link.
