The upcoming WWE Live event in Laval, Quebec City, Canada, on December 30 has been postponed.
This is due to the increase in COVID cases as of late and Canada taking precautions with limiting capacity on indoor events. WWE commentator Kevin Raphael took to social media this morning to confirm the news, tweeting out:
“The WWE has confirmed to me that the show in Laval will be postponed. All tickets from the December 30th date will be honored at a new show,” WWE commentator Kevin Raphael tweeted.
Pat Laprade of TVASports reports that the event has been posted to March 6 and will still be held in the same venue, tweeting out:
“Just got the confirmation, the WWE Laval house show is postponed to Sunday, March 6, 2022, still at the Bell Place,” Pat Laprade tweeted.
As for the WWE Live event in Toronto on December 29 that will be hosted by Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, Kevin Michie of Sportsnet reports that the show is still currently scheduled to occur at 50% capacity, but that could always change in the coming days, tweeting out:
“Per sources, as of right now the WWE Live Event at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto on Dec 29 is still happening, with the 50% capacity restrictions. If government restrictions tighten/change, then we would see postponement. But as of now the show is on,” Kevin Michie tweeted.
