Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) has booked a hot match for its “Die 4 This” show, as “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela will face Scotty 2 Hotty at the event on New Year’s Day.
Janela was set to face Drew Parker, but travel restrictions prevented the latter from attending the show. The AEW star then issued an open challenge on Twitter, and Scott Garland, also known as Scotty 2 Hotty, answered the call, and the promotion subsequently confirmed the show.
I heard it’s a little cold for baseball in Atlantic City this time of year, but I’m down to take a little batting practice anyways…

Scotty 2 Hotty had been an agent with WWE for several years, but he requested his release in November. His in-ring run with the company spanned from 1997 to 2007. He subsequently made it clear that he wanted to return to the ring for the first time in over five years, and he had previously been announced for ISPW’s Valentine’s Vengeance event on February 18.
