AEW Rampage viewership kept rising on December 17.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 571,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night. This number is up from the previous week, when 503,000 viewers tuned in, and it marks a second consecutive increase for the show In the 18 to 49 demographic, the rating climbed to a 0.23 (306,000 viewers); the December 10 episode scored a 0.18 rating (237,000 viewers.)
This was the highest total viewership for Smackdown since Sep 10, and highest 18-49 since Nov 26.
Rampage was highest in 18-49 since Oct 26 and highest in P2+ since Nov 5.
Smackdown ranked #2 in the demo on Friday, behind Lakers-Timberwolves.

Thurston noted that the key demographic rating Rampage’ highest figure since October 26. Citing Showbuzz Daily‘s numbers, he stated that Rampage ranked seventh in the demographic among cable originals on Friday night and thirteenth overall.
This week’s show featured an eight-man tag team bout between CHAOS and the SuperKliq with Bobby Fish. Plus, the Eddie Kingston teamed up with Lucha Brothers, Santana and Ortiz to face Daniel Garcia, 2point0 and The Acclaimed. Elsewhere on the show, Tay Conti took on Penelope Ford in a submission match.
