Bandido was sidelined with COVID just 48 hours before he was scheduled to defend the Ring of Honor World Championship in the final Ring of Honor pay-per-view of its current iteration.

Bandido was scheduled to face Jonathan Gresham at Ring of Honor Final Battle: End of an Era for the Ring of Honor World Championship. Now, the promotion has announced that Bandido will no longer be featured on the final event before Ring of Honor goes on hiatus for 6 months as he recently tested positive for COVID-19

Unfortunately, ROH World Champion Bandido returned a positive result on his most recent Covid Testing and will not be present at Final Battle this Saturday, December 11th in Baltimore.

Thank you for continuously supporting Ring of Honor through it all and we appreciate your understanding that the safety and health of our talents, staff, and fans are our top priorities.

Stay tuned for match updates regarding Final Battle 2021 as we commemorate the history-making era that is coming to an end.

We will continue to monitor the story and report all updates and we will have live coverage as Ring of Honor Final Battle: End of an Era goes down on December 11.
