Jonah (Bronson Reed) Believes He Would Fit In On Any Roster, Wanted A Chance At Heel Run In WWE

Jonah is an extremely unique talent and he believes he’s a guy that could fit in with any era.

New Japan and IMPACT Wrestling star Jonah (FKA Bronson Reed) recently spoke with Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo and would delve into not fitting into the ‘WWE mold’ despite being feeling like he’s a wrestler that could transcend and fit in with any era.

“I’ve had a lot of people within the business, from RAW and Smackdown, friends that have told me ‘you can’t take this personally, it’s just a business decision and if you think about it for too long you’re going to question everything.’ I can’t see any other reason than they didn’t see me fitting in whatever mold they want for RAW and Smackdown. I thought that if I didn’t go to RAW or Smackdown I’d be back on the black and gold brand,” he explained, “but I didn’t know that was all being changed. They didn’t see me fitting in on any of their rosters and that was why, I’ve always told everyone that I have ever spoken to that not only can I fit into any roster in the world, I can fit into any timeframe, Jonah can wrestle in the 80s, 90s, 2000s, I am the kinda talent that can be placed anywhere.”
Jonah also talked about wanting to play a heel at some point, noting that no one got to see that side of him in WWE.
“With the main roster they got to see me in a dark match and then a really short Main Event match and I guess that’s what they went off of. I would have loved to be able to talk about creative because the one thing that I always wanted to do in NXT and possibly the main roster was be a heel, but they didn’t get to see that side of me,” he said. “No one in WWE got to see that side of me.”

Reed has made appearances in NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling since being released by the WWE on August 6.
