Bobby Lashley Attacks Big E And WWE Title Contenders

The WWE Championship scene continues to heat up, and Bobby Lashley firmly placed himself back into the thick of it on Monday night.

WWE Champion Big E and Kevin Owens have been feuding for several weeks, and they clashed yet again during the December 6 episode of WWE RAW. This time, the two stars waged war inside a steel cage, and in a hard-fought bout, Big E emerged victorious to earn another huge win as the champion.

The match between the bitter rivals was extremely brutal from the start, with Owens looking to cause as much damage as possible by throwing Big E into the steel sides of the cage. After he stopped his foe from leaving through the door, “The Prizefighter” began choking him over the top rope, but the WWE Champion was able to reversee it into a huge sunset powerbomb for a near fall.

As the match continued, Big E began to gain momentum, and he locked in a submission that seemed to exhaust Owens and put him down. But as the fan-favorite star tried to exit the cage, though, Seth Rollins surprised him by slamming the door in his face. Back in the ring, the two competitors continued to brawl before Owens hit a pop-up powerbomb on E to seemingly end things.

As Owens began to climb out of the ring, though, Rollins got involved again; he yelled at Big E and told him that he was going to lose. Rollins’ words prompted Big E to rally and stop Owens. The champion then hit a super Big Ending on Owens that kept him down for good. Big E then safely walked out of the cage to win the bout

Unfortunately for Big E, things only got worse for after the match. Though he left Rollins lying (after “The Revolutionary” attacked Owens) with a Big Ending, Bobby Lahsley stormed the ring and absolutely decimated all three Superstars. Later in the show, Lashley noted that his actions were motivated by a feeling of disrespect, as “The All Mighty” was upset that he got left out of the title bout between the trio at WWE Day 1.
