Sabu, Rhino, And Ricky Morton Announced For GCW Most Notorious On 1/14

Several legends will fittingly appear at GCW‘s Most Notorious show on January 14, 2022.

In a series of tweets, the promotion announced that Sabu and Rhino will be at the show, which will be held at the renowned Harpos Concert Theatre. For both icons of extreme wrestling, coming to the Detroit event will be a homecoming; Rhino is from the “Motor City”, and Sabu is originally from Michigan.

Sabu recently announced that he has “probably retired” from in-ring competition, so this appearance will be an opportunity for fans to honor his remarkable career. He was one of the leading figures in ECW’s rise to national prominence, and he has established an undeniable legacy as one of the most hardcore wrestlers in recent history.

Rhino, another ECW legend, remains active as a wrestler, and he regularly competes for IMPACT Wrestling, among other promotions. He faced Tony Deppen, ASF, Gringo Loco, Jordan Oliver and Starboy Charlie in a six-way bout at GCW Guilty Conscience, which was also held in Detroit,  in September.

The promotion also announced that Ricky Morton, one-half of the legendary tag team, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, will make his return at the event. Morton is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he was won tag team titles in numerous promotions throughout his lengthy career.
