Gnarls Garvin made a major impact in his MLW debut.
Gnarls Garvin made his Major League Wrestling debut, defeating Budd Heavy on the Thanksgiving episode of MLW Fusion. Garvin made quick work of his opponent, splashing Heavy throat-first on the middle rope before hitting a side suplex for the pinfall win.
The crowd booed Garvin as he taunted his downed opponent, then he spoke with Alicia Atout after the match about his arrival in MLW. Garvin quickly chased Atout away, telling her to “go fetch me a couple Coors” before telling everyone just exactly who “Big Beef” really is.
“For those that are dumb as hell and weren’t listening, my name is Gnarls Garvin! ‘Beef’ came here for one reason — chew up talent and spit ‘em out! Listen, a great, good and close personal friend from Nashville, Tennessee sent the Beefster here tonight. MLW, I don’t care who it is, you line ‘em up,” said Garvin, “Beef’s gonna eat their breakfast, dinner and lunch! MLW, Big Beef’s here — whatcha gonna do about it?”
Gnarls Garvin spoke with WrestleZone’s Dominic DeAngelo ahead of his debut and spoke about who he’d like to face. Garvin wasted no time in naming Alex Hammerstone as someone he’d like to square off with; check out our full interview with Garvin at this link.
