Britney’s free and Liv Morgan wants to celebrate.
WWE RAW star Liv Morgan recently spoke with Complex ahead of last night’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. Liv would delve into why this past Monday’s edition of RAW was the ‘perfect opportunity’ to honor the pop star, who was recently freed of her conservatorship from her father after nearly two decades.
“It was Britney’s theme, but it was a coincidence. I had this outfit packed in my little gear bag, just in case, for any kind of promos or anything backstage that I get to do that’s not in ring gear. I brought it and Britney just got freed and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s the perfect opportunity to whip out this Britney-inspired, ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’-themed gear.’ I was a huge Britney fan growing up. I had everything: posters, bedsheets, all her albums. I had her concerts on tape and I just watched her concert back-to-back. I loved Britney and I’m so happy that she finally gets to live life on her terms, the way that she wants.”
Morgan also spoke about her Tribute to the Troops match with Bianca Belair and said she might have lost, but it taught her quite a bit at the same time.
“I take all my matches really seriously, but yeah, Bianca Belair, she was our last Raw Champion, and she was an incredible champion. Royal Rumble winner. She’s an incredible athlete and performer, wrestler. She was Becky’s last opponent, so going into it, I definitely was thinking about Bianca, I was thinking about Becky. I lost. Bianca is so incredible. I lost, but I definitely learned a lot.
“She’s so fun to work with. We have such fun energy, excited to go out there and perform and give it our all. We’ve mixed really well, our chemistry, we have really fun chemistry, Bianca and I. We’re just good friends.”
