Masha Slamovich is ready to show the world what she can do.
Masha Slamovich was a recent guest on A Wrestling Gal with Ella Jay and spoke about getting a contract offer from IMPACT Wrestling at the company’s Knockouts Knockdown event. Masha called the moment one of the most surreal moments of her career and it served as proof she is doing something right.
“That was definitely, probably one of the most surreal moments of my career. I just remember, you know, after the match finished, I was just there outside of the ring and I was just, you know, happy with myself knowing that I’d done a good job. But I didn’t know that it was that good of a job, because Gail Kim came out there, and then as you saw what transpired, it just-it felt like I can’t really find the right word for it. I always forget my English words,” Slamovich explained, “but it was like proof that I did everything right and that everything I’d been doing was being done the right way. Even if I wasn’t sure that was the proof that I was right, and it was just a really incredible moment. And you can see the moment on social media because it’s everywhere.”
Masha Slamovich was asked what she hopes to bring to IMPACT Wrestling, and her message was quite simple.
“I know that I’m going to bring the fight, the violence and the intensity to everybody in the IMPACT locker room. The men’s, the women’s, everybody — everybody better keep their eyes open and I’m just ready to do what I do best is get out there and show the world what I can do.”
On a lighter note, Masha spoke about the September 19th Beyond Wrestling event named after her, “Borscht At The Beach.” Masha said that it was a little weird wrestling in water and sand, which ended up in her boots well after the show was over.
“Yeah, I don’t normally get in the water while I’m wrestling. So that was different. And all I can say is, man, I had so much sand in my wrestling shoes afterward. I have never been so disappointed in myself. It was just like, I had the whole ocean in my shoes. It was terrible.”
