After his stunning heel turn on Big E last week, a much angrier Kevin Owens explained his actions on the November 15 episode of WWE RAW.
When Big E called Owens out, he shared his mindset as to why he betrayed the reigning WWE Champion. He stated that Big E got in his way and cost him the win against Seth Rollins. Owens went on to argue that Big E had also questioned his integrity, so it shouldn’t have shocked him when he eventually snapped.
"I promise you this, I'm going to break bad on every single superstar in that #WWERaw locker room and I'm going to break bad on YOU. And YOU DESERVE IT. Everything that happens from here on out … it's YOUR fault."@FightOwensFight has ZERO remorse for his actions.#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/X3bwLnXnxc

Owens made it clear that perception is reality, and that if people are going to think he’s a “scumbag,” he might as well stop fighting it.
In a match against Balor later in the night, Owens proved to stand by that. Late in the match, Owens hit a powerbomb for a nearfall before “The Prince” took him down with a dropkick.
As Balor went up to the top rope, Owens quickly moved with him and hit Balor with a nasty lowblow. Owens then dropped his opponent with a Stunner for the win. The victory cemented Owens’ role as a despicable fighter; with a new attitude, there’s no telling what Owens could be capable of moving forward.
