NJPW STRONG Results (11/13)

New Japan Pro Wrestling presented another episode of NJPW STRONG on Saturday. Running before Battle In The Valley, and at the same time as AEW Full Gear, the show was seemingly pushed to the sidelines despite having a loaded lineup.

The main event saw a cancelled tentpole match from 2020’s WrestleMania Season finally take place, as “The Dirty Daddy” Chris Dickinson got to face “The King” Minoru Suzuki in a blistering, hard-hitting contest. Suzuki got the win in front of the Philly crowd, and celebrated with the fans.

Jay White continued to trash talk Tomohiro Ishii after White got a win over Fred Yehi. White has made it clear that if Ishii loses, he’ll never challenge for the NEVER belt as long as Jay holds it. King Switch has been a bit of a Mad King, as we head towards Battle In The Valley.

Fred Rosser got a big tag team win over NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Tom Lawlor. The two will face off for the title at NJPW Detonation on Nov. 15th.

In a match-up of 205 Live alumni, Alex Zayne got an entertaining win over Ariya Daivari.
