Taryn Terrell Joins Lawsuit Against Miami Hotel, Alleges Sexual Assault Against Former Employee

Taryn Terrell of the National Wrestling Alliance has come forward to join the lawsuit against Oscar Ojeda for sexual assault at the Biltmore Hotel back in 2020.

Terrell, who previously wrestled for both WWE and IMPACT Wrestling, recently spoke with NBC 6 South Florida about the terrible incident:

“I think the fact that this continued to happen is just gut-wrenching,” Taryn Terrell said. I may be a wrestler. I may be a stunt woman. I may be all of those things, but at the end of the day, I am a human and I deserve the same respect and decency that every other human deserves, and when someone invades your intimate private space, it’s not OK.”

The Biltmore Hotel released a statement to the media in late October regarding the allegations:

The Biltmore’s top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of all our guests and employees. We were disheartened to learn about this guest’s experience and our former employee’s conduct, the latter of whom is not a part of the Biltmore team. We do not condone this kind of behavior and it is certainly not in any way a representation of the Biltmore and the quality of the services we provide. We will continue to cooperate with all relevant authorities and legal parties to ensure the matter is properly addressed, and therefore cannot comment further on the matter given it is currently under litigation.

Oscar Ojeda was arrested in May of 2021 and charged him with misdemeanor battery on Taryn Terrell and Seda Aktas. Aktas was the first to come forward and bring this to the attention of the police.

Ojeda will return to court in December after pleading not guilty to both charges earlier this month.
