November 2, 2021 – After building a storied career spanning five decades, legendary professional wrestling commentator Tony Schiavone has announced a new, fourteen-chapter graphic novel that will peek behind the curtain of the life of “The Voice of Your Childhood.” Butts in Seats: The Tony Schiavone Story details Schiavone’s observations, anecdotes and experiences in pro wrestling as told by the man himself.

Arriving in comic book shops on November 24 and shipping via Amazon on November 30, Butts in Seats is narrated by Schiavone and written by renowned comic writer Dirk Manning. The fastpaced graphic novel features chapters illustrated by more than two dozen skilled illustrators from around the world.

Despite his five decades in pro wrestling, Schiavone’s latest run is his hottest, serving as a member of the broadcast team for the live, weekly TNT show “AEW: Dynamite.” He also serves as a senior producer for AEW’s live programming and co-hosts the popular weekly “AEW Unrestricted” podcast alongside AEW referee Aubrey Edwards, as well as the weekly “What Happened When” podcast reliving the memories of the ‘80s, ‘90s and early 2000s as he became a household name in the business.

“As professional wrestling is undergoing another incredible boom, I felt the time was right to share some of the larger-than-life moments I was fortunate enough to experience firsthand,” said Tony Schiavone. “Butts in Seats will bring back the nostalgia from those early days and also make it clear why AEW is such a special offering for die-hard, lapsed and new wrestling fans alike.”

Fans clamoring for this unique look at Schiavone’s career have opportunities to get a personalized copy, as Schiavone will sign copies of Butts in Seats at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle from December 2-5, and C2E2 in Chicago from December 10-12. He recently wrapped signings of Butts in Seats at New York Comic Con and Cherry Capital Comic Con. Fans can also directly purchase the novel from its publisher, Source Point Press, at www.ButtsinSeatsComic.com on top of finding it in comic book shops and on Amazon.
