AEW Rampage is sure to be a fright this Friday.
The following matches and segments were taped for this week’s new episode of AEW Rampage that airs on Friday, October 29 on TNT. This week’s show includes one of the AEW Championship Eliminator Tournament Semifinal matches and a “Trick or Treat” match between Britt Baker and Abadon.
AEW Championship Eliminator Tournament Semifinals
Bryan Danielson defeated Eddie Kingston
- Danielson and Kingston “beat the hell out of each other” and the crowd was said to be split between the two. The finish came when Kingston went for a pin, but Danielson got him in an arm triangle and threw some elbows to the head before putting him to sleep. Kingston refused to shake Danielson’s hand at the end
CM Punk is backstage with Tony Schiavone when his interview is interrupted by Eddie Kingston, who is shouting about his match. Kingston slaps the microphone and gets in Punk’s face, and Punk calls him unprofessional as Kingston is pulled away.
Dante Martin (w/ Lio Rush) defeated Matt Sydal
- Martin hit a triangle slingshot moonsault for the pinfall win
Mark Henry interviews Abadon and Britt Baker before their Trick Or Treat Match. If Abadon wins, she gets a future title shot.
Trick Or Treat Match
Dr Britt Baker DMD defeated Abadon
Baker introduced weapons early in the match. The bout sees Baker getting Uranage’d onto a pile of thumbtacks, then she stuffs a handful of tacks in Abadon’s mouth and kicks them out. After a Lockjaw attempt, Baker uses a distraction for Jamie Hayter and Reba to score a rollup win.
