The Usos Retain SmackDown Tag Titles Against The Street Profits

The rivalry between The Usos and The Street Profits has been brewing for several months now, and it has reached new heights during the challengers’ pursuit of The Usos’ SmackDown Tag Team Championship. In the latest escalation of this feud, the champions retained their titles in a brutal Street Fight against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins on Friday night.

The match began with full chaos breaking out, as Dawkins hit the Drill Bit on Jey immediately before the duo went outside of the ring to brawl. Back inside the ring, Ford and Jimmy were trading punches before the Street Profits dropped the brothers and went outside of the ring, where they did their best Dudley Boyz impression and grabbed a table. But The Usos disrupted this plan by diving onto Ford and Dawkins.

After they got back into the ring, The Usos seemed destine to come away with a win after they blasted Dawkins with consecutive shots with a kendo stick. But as the duo attempted to hit him with diving splashes, Ford grabbed at Jey, knocking him off the ropes and delivering a big kick to Jimmy to keep the match alive for the Street Profits.

After the challengers flipped the momentum, the Street Profits looked primed to finally take their titles back, but the Usos just wouldn’t give up. Jey took multiple chair and kendo shots from the duo before Jimmy managed to pull Ford off of his brother after a huge splash. In the end,  The Usos won the bout when they dropped Ford with a superkick and pinned Dawkins with back-to-back splashes.
