Masha Slamovich couldn’t pull off the upset against Deonna Purrazzo at the Knockouts Knockdown show on October 9, but Gail Kim still offered her a contract with IMPACT Wrestling due to her impressive performance.
A few days after the show, IMPACT Wrestling shared a video on its Twitter page that shows Kim offering Slamovich a contract with the company. Slamovich emotionally embraces Kim, seemingly accepting the offer before Kim raises her hand.
In a tweet of her own, Slamovich responded to the video by calling it one of the “wildest moments” of her career. She then thanked Kim and expressed her excitement to see what her future holds in regards to her run with IMPACT.
In another update on the signing, Fightful Select is reporting that the reason the contract offer didn’t air on the original broadcast is that the deal had not been finalized yet. It was noted that the video aired since the contract has since been finalized between the two sides.
Slamovich has recently competed for Beyond Wrestling and VxS (Violence x Suffering) Wrestling. She has made a few appearances on AEW Dark, and she was also on the card of NWA EmPowerrr.
