The Rock Raps With Tech N9ne On New Track ‘Face Off’

The Rock continues to prove he can do it all in the world of entertainment outside of WWE.

Tech N9ne released his new single this morning titled “Face Off.” The end of the track featured an appearance from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson making his rap music debut.

This isn’t the first time The Rock has done something in the music industry as he appeared in Wyclef Jean’s ’It Doesn’t Matter’ in 2000, which featured some dialogue from the former multi-time WWE Champion.

In 2016 The Rock made his actual singing debut as part of the Disney animated film Moana playing the character Maui. During the film, he performed the now multi-time platinum hit “You’re Welcome,” but this song is definitely a departure from what you’ve heard from The Great One before.

Check out the track embedded below, as well as The Rock’s lyrics from the end of the song here:

It’s about tribe, it’s about power

We stay hungry, we devour

Put in the work, put in the hours, and take what’s ours

Black and Samoan in my veins, my culture banging with Strange

I change the game, so what’s my motherf–kin’ name

Desecration, defamation, if you wanna bring it to the masses

Face to face now we escalating when I have to put boots to asses

Mean on ya like a dream when I’m rumbling, you’re gonna scream, “Mama”

So bring drama to the king Brahma, coming at ya with extreme mana
