WWE has announced the rules for the 2021 WWE Draft, which is set to begin on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
In a video posted to the company’s Twitter page, Megan Morant explained how the draft will work.
Half of the roster is eligible to be drafted tonight on SmackDown, and the other half will be drafted on the second night of the draft this Monday on RAW. Any undrafted Superstars will automatically become free agents; They can sign with a brand of their choosing. Finally, the draft changes will officially go into effect on October 22, the night after WWE Crown Jewel.
