MLW Fusion: ALPHA Results (9/29/21): National Openweight Title Match

Major League Wrestling presented the newest episode of MLW Fusion ALPHA on Wednesday ahead of its buzzworthy Fightland show this weekend.

In the main event, Alexander Hammerstone defended the MLW National Openweight Championship against Tom Lawlor.

The results are as follows:

  • Mads Krügger vows to help his CONTRA stablemate Jacob Fatu by tkaing out Alex Hammerstone before their major Title vs. Title Match at MLW Fightland.
  • Aramis defeated Arez; fans threw money into the ring to show that they enjoyed the match.
  • A video package recaps Jacob Fatu’s reign as the MLW World Heavyweight Champion ahead of his clash with Hammerstone
  • Cesar Duran gives Matt Cross a title shot against Fatu next week on MLW Fusion: ALPHA.

  • The Women’s Featherweight Division will officially kick off next wek when Willow Nightingale faces Ashley Vox.
  • Alex Kane (with King Mo) defeated Budd Heavy; Kane floors Heavy with some more suplexes after the match.
  • EJ “The Judge” Nduka hypes up his record-breaking performance in the Battle Riot and says he’s here to show what he can do.
  • 5150 target Injustice in a promo
  • At the MLW Control Center, Rich Bocchini runs through the matches for Fightland next Thursday on Vice TV; Fatu’s bout with Hammerstone and Myron Reed’s MLW World Middleweight Championship Match in a four-way clash will air on the show.
  • Duran rewards Alex Kane with an alternate spot in this year’s Opera Cup tourament; if any of the competitors in the bracket go down, Kane will take their spot.
  • MLW National Openweight Championship: Alexander Hammerstone (c) defeated Tom Lawlor; CONTRA attacked Hammerstone after the match.
