Sheamus Undergoes A Second Nose Surgery

It sounds like Sheamus will be wearing his mask for a bit longer.

Sheamus once again broke his nose and had another surgery on Wednesday to fix the injury. The Celtic Warrior surprisingly took to social media this morning to announce the injury, tweeting out a photo of himself in the hospital:

“..once more unto the breach dear friends.. 2x WWE *nose emoji* job champion,” Sheamus tweeted.

Sheamus previously claimed he suffered the injury against Jeff Hardy on WWE RAW on September 20 when his mask came off. Despite the broken nose, Sheamus still worked two more matches after that, a United States Title Triple Threat match against Damian Priest and Hardy at Extreme Rules and a singles match against Priest on RAW the next night.

Sheamus first broke his nose at the end of May on an episode of WWE RAW against Humberto Carrillo. He wasn’t out of the ring too long after that, but a second broken nose in such a short period might call for an extended amount of time off to recover.

Sheamus posted a picture of his nose before and after surgery:

WrestleZone would like to wish Sheamus a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on WWE television again soon.
