Following tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, rapper Lil Uzi Vert — who was at the show as a fan — ended up taking part in a segment that occurred following the end of the show.
Thanks to fans there, we can see that the rapper came out alongside Tony Khan to interrupt The Acclaimed, who had come out and challenged him to a rap battle after Max Caster had been begging for one all week. Khan finally came out to the stage and said that he doesn’t rap very well, but he knows someone who does, before introducing Lil Uzi Vert, who came out and flexed for the crowd.
Khan got on the microphone and rapped a bit and jokingly telling The Acclaimed that he was suspending them again (a reference to Caster’s absence last month) before sending out the Varsity Blonds, who promptly came running out and attacked The Acclaimed. Khan came back out a few minutes later and made it clear to the audience that The Acclaimed had not actually been suspended, and that the remark was just a subtle dig for the battle segment.
