Ruby Soho: AEW Emulates Everything I Love About Pro Wrestling

During the Women’s Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out, Ruby Soho made her All Elite Wrestling debut as the Joker participant and went on to win the match by tossing out Thunder Rosa.

Since her debut, Ruby Soho has taken All Elite Wrestling by storm and is set to challenge Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. later on tonight at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Ahead of Grand Slam, Ruby Soho recently sat down with Mike Beauvais of TSN to discuss all things AEW. When asked what her vision of pro wrestling is, Soho says that All Elite Wrestling emulates everything that she loves about pro wrestling:

“AEW emulates everything I love about pro wrestling, which is diversity, complexity, and just something different,” Ruby Soho said. “That’s what I love about wrestling because there’s something out there for everybody and AEW is something different, which is difficult to do in the wrestling industry. Wrestling has been around forever, and everybody has done everything before, but AEW has managed to keep it fresh and new and exciting. It was something that I really wanted to be a part of, and I was hoping that I could. So, I kinda held out and crossed my fingers and hoped that I could be part of the roster and I’m fortunate enough to be a part of their roster and I’m excited.”

Ruby Soho also spoke about how she felt like AEW was home from the moment she stepped on stage at All Out; you can read more about her thoughts on her debut at this link.
