In-Ring Segment: Toxic Attraction
Mandy Rose says she came to NXT to be our Golden Goddess. NXT needed a woman like her. One they love to look as but could never be with. Rose says Gigi Dolan and Jacey Jayne don’t give a damn what the NXT Universe thinks. They are going to take over the entire division. Dolan says they are unbeatable and will be at the top of NXT 2.0. Jayne says they aren’t just some pretty faces in the crowd.
They aren’t like the rest of these broads in the division. They aren’t waiting for anything. They want the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. They have an ass-kicking waiting for Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. Backstage, Shirai says she doesn’t like them and they got their title shot. Stark says shouldn’t they talk about this? Shirai asks Stark if she doesn’t agree. Stark says she does, but it’s a matter of principle. Persia Pirotta barges in and wishes the champs good luck. When her best friend Indi Hartwell is back they will be waiting for them.
Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne vs. Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa
Breakker tosses Holland all over the ring. Holland tries a leapfrog but Breakker catches Holland midair and hits a Dog-Faced Gremlin-style power slam. Ciampa tags in and hits a bulldog. After a distraction, Dunne takes control of Ciampa. Dunne and Holland work over Ciampa. After the break, Ciampa manages to tag in Breakker, who clears the ring. Breakker puts Dunne in the Steiner Recliner. Dunne almost taps out.
Dunne bites Breakker’s hand to break the hold. Holland and Dunne hit a double-team move. Ciampa breaks up the pin. Breakker and Holland clothesline each other over and over again. Dunne sneaks in the ring with a bat. Ciampa cuts him off. Breakker picks up Dunne for his finish. Holland breaks it up. Holland rolls out of the ring to get the bat. Kyle O’Reilly runs down to ringside and attacks Holland with the bat. O’Reilly sends Holland back in the ring. Ciampa hits Willow’sBell on Dunne. Breakker hits his finish on Holland for the win.
Winners- Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa
After the match, Breakker hands Ciampa the NXT Championship. Breakker won’t let the title go. Breakker eventually does.
