Edge ‘Stretchered Off’ Of WWE SmackDown After Losing To Seth Rollins

Edge and Seth Rollins clashed again this week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but the outcome was much different than SummerSlam. Edge sauntered out to a wild reception at Madison Square Garden as it has been his first match at the venue in 11 years., but a low blow helped Rollins walk out of MSG the winner. Rollins catches Edge with a dropkick to the knee. Edge looks surprised by Rollins attack strategy. Rollins almost facebusters Edge into the turnbuckle but Edge puts on the breaks. Edge sends Rollins into the turnbuckle. Edge whips Rollins into the ring post. The fight spills out of the ring. Rollins sends Edge into the barricade. Rollins sends Edge back into the ring. Edge cuts Rollins off before he can get back in the ring. Rollins stuns Edge on the top rope.

Rollins goes up top but Edge moves closer to the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Rollins sends Edge out of the ring with a running knee. Suicide dive by Rollins. After the break, Rollins continues working over Edge’s knee. Rollins hits two Glam Slams. Edge kicks out at two. Edge and Rollins trade finisher attempts. Edge eventually blasts Rollins with a Pedigree. Rollins kicks out.

After the break, Edge lands a full nelson slam. Rollins somehow manages to kick out yet again. Edge locks Rollins in the Edgeucator. Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins almost rolls Edge into a crossface. Edge reverses Rollins crossface attempt into a crossface of his own. Edge slams Rollins face into the mat over and over again. Rollins gets to the ropes. Edge his the Implant DDT. Edge tries a spear but Rollins counters with a spinning neck breaker. Rollins attempts the stomp but Edge turns it into a sit-out powerbomb. Rollins kicks out. Edge goes up top. Rollins cuts  Edge off and hits the buckle bomb. Rollins tries the Stomp but Edge surprises him with a Spear. Rollins kicks out at 2.9.

Ultimately, Edge ended up taking the loss after a low blow and three consecutive superkicks before Rollins finished him off by stepping on his vulnerable neck for a Curb Stomp

Edge was then stretchered out of the ring and put in an ambulance. As the vehicle rode into the night, a despondent Rollins was asked about his current feelings to which he said he doesn’t know how he feels. He admitted that he might not feel anything at all about it.
