It looks as if Bray Wyatt may be All Elite bound, according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer. On the weekend edition of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Meltzer stated that although pen hasn’t been put to paper, Windham Rotunda is expected to join AEW once his non-compete clause is up.
“It’s not 100%. His non-compete’s not up, but it’s most likely happening. It’s at the same stage when I said Aleister Black long before it’s happened. It’s at the same stage,” Meltzer said. “It’s an expectation that’s pretty strong. Put it that way.”
Wyatt was released by WWE back on July 31, although it was later reported that he signed a new multi-year deal with the company last year. Wyatt, for the most part, has remained radio silent on social media, with the exception of an August 20 post when he shared a quote from the late rock musician, Eddie Van Halen.
“Rock Stars come and go. Musicians play until they die. – Eddie Van Halen” Wyatt Tweeted.
Wyatt still has the “@WWEBrayWyatt” handle for his Twitter account, but he did happen to change his title to simply “Windham.”
