MJF Makes Chris Jericho Tap Out In The Fifth ‘Labour Of Jericho’

Chris Jericho overcame the four “Labours” MJF threw at him, and he was rewarded with his long-awaited rematch with the leader of The Pinnacle.

On AEW Dynamite, Jericho faced MJF in a singles match with the stipulation that “Le Champion” couldn’t use his signature move, the Judas Effect, or his beloved theme song, “Judas.” But an electric crowd didn’t let that stop them; the fans in attendance sang Jericho’s song as he came to the ring.

Once the bell rang, Jericho took the fight to MJF, but the dastardly heel gained the upper hand and grounded his foe. Jericho fired back and nailed some of his greatest hits, including the Lionsault.

Out of nowhere, MJF locked in the Salt of the Earth arm-bar, but Jericho escaped. He locked in the Walls of Jericho, but MJF got out of the hold. MJF dropped Jericho with a nasty piledriver, but “Le Champion” still refused to stay down. With a sneaky low blow, MJF locked in the Walls of Jericho, but the fan-favorite star escaped by reaching the ropes.

While MJF put his diamond ring on, Jericho got his baseball bat. With the referee’s back turned, Jericho hit MJF with the bat, but he stopped himself during a Judas Effect attempt. MJF responded by blasting Jericho with the Judas Effect, and he then locked in the Salt of the arth arm-bar. Jericho tapped out, so MJF won the bout.
