Fuego Del Sol Earns AEW Contract Despite TNT Title Match Loss To Miro

Fuego Del Sol was hoping for a miracle on the debut episode of AEW Rampage, but he unfortunately ran into the buzzsaw that is “The Redeemer” Miro.

In an AEW TNT Championship match, Miro decisively defeated the fan-favorite star. After a brief flurry of offense from the challenger, Miro took control and made Fuego tap out to the Game Over. In the process, the champion seemingly prevented Fuego from earning a contract with AEW, as per the match’s stipulation.

But after the bout, Sammy Guevara, backed by AEW President Tony Khan, came to the ring. He told him that sometimes, there’s winning in losing. “The Spanish God” then told Fuego that he’s “All Elite” and handed him a contract.
