ROH Wrestling Results (8/9/21): Bandido And Rey Horus vs. Brody King And Chris Dickinson

Bandido and Rey Horus vs. Brody King and Chris Dickinson

Before the match, King congratulates Bandido for winning the ROH World Championship, and he also commends Dickinson (and Homicide) for winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Dickinson says he and King have been teaing up in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, so they have plenty of experience together. He states that there’s honor in violence, and this is Violence Unlimited.

Meanwhile, Horus and Bandido celebrate Bandido’s championship victory, and the champion calls it this match the beginning of a new era.

Both teams shake hands to begin the match. Bandido and Horus chop their opponents, but the members of Violence Unlimited stomp the duo. Dickinson takes Horus down and grounds him. King tags in and chops Horus. Dickinson and King double-team Horus and continue to control the bout. King clubs Horus with some crushing blows. Violence Unlimited is dominating Horus, and Dickinson drops Bandido with a cheap shot.

Horus dodges a double-team move, as he makes King clothesline Dickinson. A tornado DDT gives him some breathing room, and Bandido tags in with a flurry of offense. A corkscrew dive stuns Dickinson, and Bandido presses him over his head and throws him out of the ring. Bandido dives onto both men outside the ring. Horus dives onto everyone, and all four men are down.

A running shooting star press earns Bandido a two count. King crushes Horus with a senton, and Violence Unlimited regains the advantage. King wrenches in a Boston Crab on Bandido, and Dickinson locks Horus in a STF at the same time. Bandido reaches the ropes to escape, but Dickinson plants him with a Brainbuster for a two count. Horus dives onto King and takes him down. Dickinson suplexes Bandido, but Horus distracts him, allowing Bandido to hit the 21-Plex for the victory.

Winners: Bandido and Rey Horus

La Faccion Ingobernable attack Bandido and Horus, but Homicide makes the save after Bandido’s mask gets ripped off. RUSH stands tall over Bandido while brawl continues as the show comes to a close.
