John Cena Calls Roman Reigns ‘A Scared Little Kid,’ Gives Corbin An Attitude Adjustment

John Cena once again opened WWE Friday Night SmackDown this week; to kick off the show, he taunted WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, though “The Tribal Chief” rejected his challenge for a match at WWE SummerSlam.

Cena began by saying that he took issue with the way that Reigns criticized him last week, noting that other legends like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wouldn’t change their act. On the flip side, Cena said that Reigns has constantly had to reinvent himself because the fans don’t like him or believe in him. He then claimed that Reigns doesn’t believe in himself.

Cena stated Reigns is nothing more than a “lazy stooge named Joe” and he’s nothing more than a “bloodsucking product of the machine who is afraid to fail.” The leader of the Cenation shared his belief that Reigns knows that he would have embarrassed at SummerSlam if he faced Cena, so that’s why he rejected his challenge.

Baron Corbin chose this moment to interrupt the legendary star. Corbin, wearing stained clothing, agreed with Cena’s assessment that he looked horrible. Corbin ran down the long list of bad things that have happened to him before he begged Cena for help. Cena tried to get the crowd to decided Corbin’s fate, but he wound up giving the unfortunate Superstar a few dollars from his pockets in an attempt to help.

Instead, Corbin launched into an rant on Cena, saying that he was nothing more than a “selfish, self-absorbed tightwad with an ego the size of California.” He then told Cena he was nothing more than a Hollywood sellout, and while Cena seemed to not be too mad, he did say that Corbin just set up a teachable moment. The former WWE Champion said that he would give the one thing he desperately needs, which is an attitude adjustment. Cena then hit his signature move on Corbin to send the disrespectful star a message.
