MATCH 1
Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa vs. Oney Lorcan & Pete Dunne

Dunne and Thatcher lock it up first. Very technical obviously and it quickly goes to the mat.  Thatcher pins Pete’s shoulders down and gets a two count. He digs his boot into Dunne’s face as he wrenches the ar. Back to their feet. Dunne goes to the ground and captures Tim into a triangle hold. He puts Dunne into a single leg crabnd the two soon again find themselves in a stalemate. Both men tag in their partners.

Thatcher and Tomasso work on Oney for awhile into break. After it, its a hard-hitting brawl until the end when Ridge Holland returns to cost the match for the babyfaces. Dunne wins with a Bitter End on Ciampa.

WINNERS: Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan

Post-match Ridge hits a Yorkshire Kiss on Thatcher, launching him into the corner.

After the break, Hit Row are running down Legado Del Fantasma. They’re the new kings of the jungle and then they call out Imperium too. “If you didn’t know, now you know.”

Out comes Samoa Joe. He calls Karrion Kross a gutless coward and doesn’t think that the champ is even in the building right now. Joe asks Regal to join him in the ring. Out comes William. Joe says he knows he’s going to fire Kross for his actions, but he has another proposition. He has a piece of paper that will be his official resignation as NXT management and it also will make him an official member of the NXT roster. Regal signs it. There’s a third step to this process, another contract that makes Joe vs. Kross official for TakeOver 36. Regal signs that too.

We see Cameron Grimes caddying for LA Knight. He’s washing his (golf) balls.  He pulls a Dangerfield in Caddyshack on Knight and wagers $5,000 he misses his shot. Knight indeed does shank his shot.

MATCH 2
NXT Breakout Tournament
Carmelo Hayes vs. Josh Briggs

Bell rings and the bigger Riggs handles Hayes, but the two men do trade shots.  Briggs catches Carmelo in a bear hug, but Hayes hits him with a pump kick. He drops Briggs with a dropkick into the corner and Josh sends him sailing over the top to the outside. Hayes hits a springboard to wear Briggs down and locks in a front guillotine, but a back elbow levels everything out. We go to break.

After break, Duke Hudson joins commentary. Briggs splashes onto Hayes for a near fall. Hayes hits two enziguris on Briggs and then does another springboard attack to knock Josh off his feet. Hayes hits a codebreaker on Briggs, but it’s only good for two. Briggs turns Hayes inside out with a big boot and followed by a massive chokeslam. Two count!

Briggs hits a running boot in the corner and goes for a sidewalk slam, but Hayes counters with several takedowns. He ascends up and hits a fameasser from up top. That’s good enough for the win.

WINNER and ADVANCES: Carmelo Hayes

We see Franky Monet and the Stone Brand exchange words with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter from a clip after last week. Looks like we’ll have a tag feud.

Cameron Grimes is busy searching for another ball missed by LA Knight. Ted DiBiase pulls up in a golf cart and tells him to stand up for himself.

Ridge Holland says his attack on Thatcher and Ciampa won’t be his last attacks.

Out comes Raquel Gonzalez to say how unstoppable she is. Dakota Kai agrees and puts her dominance over Charlotte Flair and others of that ilk. She says NXT TakeOver is four weeks away and asks who is woman enough to challenge Raquel? Dakota Kai calls out anyone. She says there is no one. The two have been through so much together and as long as she has her back, Gonzalez will always be champion. Suddenly as Raquel stands atop the turnbuckle, Kai comes running at her with a running boot. She holds the title over Raquel and stares down at her.

Adam Cole tells Bronson Reed is not a rebound. He could give a damn about Reed’s 14 year journey and Cole beating him will just be another chapter…Bay Bay.

A skeptical Io Shirai is convinced to have some partner time with Zoey Stark. As this is going on Mandy Rose is seen backstage talking to Gigi Dolin and Jaycey Jane. She tells the camera man to buzz off.

MATCH 3
Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs. Franky Monet & Jessi Kamea (with Robert Stone)

Kayden and Kamea start it off. The taller Kamea challenges Karter to test of strength with her, but Kayden kicks her before showing some chemistry with Kacy. Karter rolls Kamea up for two. Monet tags herself in and gets kicked at by Carter.  Monet nails a DDT on Carter. She then flings Kadyen to her corner to nail a double knee strike. Tag efficiency is shown by the new tandem. Carter tries to fight by but Monet show their dominance.  Robert Stone throws his man purse to Monet to use, but this distracts her and sets her up for a 450 by Catanzaro for the 1-2-3.

WINNERS: Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter

Earlier in the day, Wade Barrett was sitting with Malcom Bivens and Roderick Strong. It was Bivens who reminded Roddy that he is number one. Who would have thought that it was Bivens who brought Strong back to NXT? Barrett notes that the next big money match would be Bobby Fish vs. Roderick Strong. Bivens says he’s absolutely right. Next week, when Roderick finishes Bobby, this is over.

MATCH 4
Imperium vs. Hit Row

Adonis and Marcel start it off. Bartel is the first to get the offense and he tag s in Aichner, but Adonis is fired up and nails a neckbreaker. Quick kickout by Fabian. He soon plants Adonis with a lariat. Top Dolla is tagged in and he hits a big knee to Aichner’s jaw. A double team air dropkick by Hit Row for a two count.

Aichner hits a back suplex before tagging in Bartel. He corners Adonis, but B-FAB gets on the apron. Adonis soon hits a spinebuster for a near fall. We go to break.

Imperium starts to click as they work on Adonis. Spinebuster, running knee combo to Adonis. He ranas free from Fabian and Adonis goes to tag TD. Bartel grabs Adonis into an ankle lock. The heels continue to isolate Adonis and has to kick out at two after a Fabian backbreaker.

Adonis soon tosses Aichner out and TD gets the hot tag. Big knee to Bartel. He splashes Aichner. Sidewalk slam. Big leaping elbow, but Bartel breaks up the pin attempt. Dolla dumps Bartel out. Adonis flapjacks Aichner. Out come Wilde and Mendoza. Imperium steals the victory due to that interference after hitting a powerbomb on Adonis.

WINNERS: Imperium

Post-match Legado Del Fantasma gang up on Hit Row until Isaiah Scott makes the save.

The Way are on rocky ground as Gargano tries to play peacemaker between Indi and Candice. Indi gets a drawing sent to her by Dexter Lumis. She loves it, but The Way doesn’t like it. He has no chance in getting in the family. Indi proposes a match between Gargano and Dexter. Candice says if Johnny wins, no more Dexter.

Back from break, Cameron Grimes and LA Knight are confronted by GYV on the golf course. Grimes defends Knight and Gibson challenges them double the money for the next hole. Knight shanks it once more. Grimes drives the putt and hits LA Knight in the nuts and then in the head inadvertantly. He gets a hole in one. Knight thinks the Vets did it, but they drive off in the golf cart.

MAIN EVENT
Bronson Reed vs. Adam Cole

Reed powers Cole down twice. The second takedown was with a shoulder tackle, but Cole chop blocks him and then makes his left lega a target. Reed swats Cole out of mid-air. Gorilla press and big elbow by Reed.

Reed goes to superplex Cole, but Cole flips over him and kicks Reed in the back of the knee. We go to break.

Back from it, Cole remains in control. He’s heavily focusing on Reed’s left knee. That’s the massive aspect of the match. Reed does fire back with some jabs, splashes Cole in the corner, knocks him down with a body tackle before nailing a senton for a two count. Cole avoids a suplex and hits an enziguri. Reed catches Cole in a modified Olympic Slam. Two count. Both men battle and Cole hits a running leg lariat for a near fall.

Pump kick by Cole. Reed catches his leg, corners him and chops away at Adam. A kick to the midsection allows Cole to nail a Panama Sunrise for the 1-2-nope. Reed kicks out.

Reed hits a big lariat before smacking a massive powerbomb. He misses his top rope finish. Cole kicks him in the front and then the back. 1-2-3.

WINNER: Adam Cole

Post-match, Kyle O’Reilly attacks Adam with a chair before suplexing him on the steel steps. The CWC is mostly echoing with boos for KOR as the show ends.
